The board of directors of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru appointed engineer and doctor in economics Paul Castillo Bardález as its new general manager, who will assume this position to replace Eduardo Torres Llosa as of April 1.
Paul Castillo joined the Central Bank in 1996, after excelling in the University Extension Course that year. Currently, he holds the position of manager of Monetary Operations and Financial Stability, having previously held positions such as manager of Monetary Policy, deputy manager of Monetary Policy Design, head of the Real Sector Policy Department and specialist in various areas of the institution.
