Exchange rate: dollar chains another downward session and closes at S/3.7900 this Thursday the 22nd

The currency faces a downturn on Thursday after a series of events accelerated a downward move in the US Dollar Index (DXY) overnight.

The dollar exchange rate closed lower this Thursday, February 22 and stood at S/3.7900, according to the Central Reserve Bank (BCRP).

The day before, the greenback had closed its session at S/3.7970 and then climbed to the official opening of S/3.8090 this Thursday. In this way, the dollar recorded an interday decline of 0.18% against the Peruvian sol.

The currency faces a downturn on Thursday after a series of events accelerated a downward move in the US Dollar Index (DXY) overnight.

The first decline occurred after the publication of the minutes of the January meeting of the US Federal Reserve. On Thursday we will have an agenda full of leading indicators.
