The gas massification process continues in all corners of the country. During his visit to Ucayali, President Pedro Castillo assured that his administration will promote the use of gas from Curimaná among the families that need it most in the district of the same name. He even assured that, if pipeline works begin in the short term, the project could be ready in just six months. In this sense, the president summoned the Minister of Energy and Mines, Eduardo González, to quickly take over the post in order to satisfy local demand.
“We must begin to accelerate what corresponds to Curimaná, so that the needs of the people are met. How is it possible that a town surrounded by the river does not have gas, water, sewage service, it is urgent, we have to prioritize that? “stressed the head of state.
The Curimaná Natural Gas Separation Plant, extracted from Block 31-C, is located within the Aguaytía gas field and has a processing capacity of 65 million cubic feet per day. There gas, natural gas liquids and water are separated along with other impurities from the wells.
Progress to Curimaná
On the other hand, President Pedro Castillo asked his Minister of Transport and Communications (MTC), Juan Silva, prioritize the asphalting of the road that connects the towns of Neshuya-Curimaná, with the aim of making the transit of basic necessities and supplies for the nascent local industry easier.
He also said that he will concentrate efforts on unlocking projects, such as those aimed at irrigation, after strengthening the vaccination process.
The data
Duct Ucayali was one of the towns that saw the arrival of gas frustrated through the Siete Regiones project. Today the Government is committed to reformulating the plan.
