The proforma 2022 was published in the Official Registry without the observations of the Assembly

The Government had been ratified, on November 27, in the original proposal of the 2022 budget proforma and the 2022-2025 four-year programming.

The 2022 budget proforma and the 2022-2025 four-year programming it was published in the Official Gazette, without including the observations of the National Assembly.

In the Second Supplement to Official Gazette 599, of December 16, 2021, the document, whereby the legal secretary general of the Presidency of the Republic attached the Proforma of the General State Budget for the financial year 2022 and the Quadrennial Budget Program 2022-2025.

The letter that accompanies the document clarifies that “the observations made by the National Assembly are not technically applicable; they do not include concrete actions on specific amounts; and they limit themselves to suggesting revisions to the original proposal ”.

The document also indicates that “protected by the unenforceability of the observations, the constitutional president of the Republic ratified the original proposal of the Executive Function, both of the proforma of the General Budget of the State corresponding to the fiscal year 2022 as well as the Quadrennial Budgetary Programming 2022-2025″.

The observations of the Legislature had to do with “reviewing” the allocations made to education, health, universities, the prison sector and “specifying” with more accurate figures how much is expected to be obtained with the issue of monetization of assets.

The budget proforma 2022 amounts to $ 33,899.73 million (including the Derivatives Financing Account, CFDD) and represents an increase of $ 2,438.57 million (2.22% of GDP) in relation to that codified as of August 31, 2021 of the General Budget of the State (PGE).

The document does not include no income expected by the Organic Law for Economic Development and Fiscal Sustainability after the COVID-19 Pandemic, which came into effect on November 29. (I)
