During the September, October and November quarter, 4 million 812,800 people made up the employed population in Metropolitan Lima. However, compared to the same period in 2019, a contraction of 149,000 jobs is observed, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI).

According to the INEI, from September to November of this year compared to the year prior to the pandemic, the wage bill had a negative variation of 13.6%, now standing at S / 7,524 (S / 8,648 in 2019).
