The latest labor market index conducted by Multitrabajos reveals that the average salary requested by Ecuadorians is $809 for the month of November. This is an aspiration 1.19% lower than in October, but higher by 0.61% compared to November 2022.
For boss or supervisor positions, the expected salary is $1,255, down 4% from October. For the senior and semi-senior categories, it was set at $820, a decrease of 0.41%. While at the junior levels it is $528 per month, a decrease of 0.51%.
“We can note in our latest index that the average salary requested by men in Ecuador is 809 USD per month, while the salary of women is 731 USD. It is important to emphasize that there is a detailed consideration of the specific requirements of each position which becomes a key element to establish realistic and fair salary expectations, ” says Jeff Morales, Marketing Manager at Multitrabajos.com.
On the other hand, in November companies needed talent mainly for the commercial sector with 44.86% of total notifications.
