Indecopi will auction seized properties in Lima and Arequipa: when will it be and how to participate?

The National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) will hold the last auction of the year for all people interested in acquiring a home or land in Lima and Arequipa. Among the 30 properties to be auctioned are apartments, parking lots, houses and others that will be delivered to the highest bidder.

These properties were seized from individuals or companies that did not comply with the payment of fines imposed by the entity because they infringed consumer rights or did not respect intellectual property. Then find out all the details in the following note from La República.

When and where will the Indecopi auction be?

The Indecopi auction will take place this Wednesday December 27 at 9:00 am in the auditorium of its headquarters, located in the av. Del Aire 384, San Borja (reference: block 15 of Canada Avenue).

Indecopi: how to participate in the auction?

IF you are interested in participating in the last auction of the year organized by Indecopi, follow these guidelines:

• You must show up 30 minutes before the scheduled time carrying your current ID. If you come with expired documents, you will not be able to participate, as indicated in article 37 of Law 26497.
• Credit an amount of no less than 10% of the appraisal value of the property that you wish to acquire, either in cash or by cashier’s check, payable to Indecopi.
• Those people who participate on behalf of another, whether natural or legal, must present a valid power of attorneyregistered in the respective registry office.
