Indecopi issued resolution No. 0479-2023/CDA-INDECOPI, which orders companies Telefónica del Perú SAA (Movistar), América Móvil Perú SAC (Claro), Entel Perú SA (Entel), Viettel Perú SAC (Bitel), Americatel Perú SA (Americatel), GTD Perú SA (GTD) and Wi-Net Telecom SAC ( Win) blocking access to 328 digital piracy websites. The pages provided streaming, linking, and stream-ripping services for movies, series, musical works, television broadcasts, among other protected creations. The measure is part of the sixth edition of operation 404, in collaboration with various national and foreign institutions.
It should be remembered that this is the second time that Indecopi integrates the initiative that aims to emphasize the importance of the fight against piracy in the digital environment.
