The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) reported that it inaugurated a parcel irrigation system that will benefit more than 60 users of family agriculture in the towns of Aputinya, Sicllabamba Baja and Santo Tomás, in the district of Echarati, province of La Convencion in Cusco.
For this irrigation infrastructure work, S / 460.739 which will allow beneficiaries to irrigate approximately 30 hectares of cocoa crops, as well as mandarins, oranges and bananas.

Midagri through Agro Rural, through its Sustainable Territorial Development Project, reported that they will promote agricultural production chains in the area.
