Expocafé 2023: sales commitments for more than S/1 million achieved at Business Roundtable

The Expocafé Perú 2023 stage witnessed a significant milestone after 27 producers, supported by the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), joined the Business Roundtable, organized by the Peruvian Chamber of Coffee and Cocoa. The results were impressive, generating sales commitments that exceeded the S/1 million mark and thus consolidating its triumphant entry into the licit market.

Invitations were made to 17 purchasing companies, with profiles that include exporters, roasters and specialty coffee shops. These companies met at various business meetings with the 53 bidding producers, of which 27 are Devida beneficiaries and come from the regions of Ayacucho, Cusco, Junín, Puno and Huánuco.

The figures speak for themselves in this Business Roundtable, in which the Vrae Coffee Producers Association of Ayacucho stood out by achieving the highest sales commitment, reaching S/176,000. The Ashaninka Kemito Sankori Agrarian Cooperative of Junín followed closely with S/161,440.

Among the key purchasing companies are prominent names such as Kaffeehaus, Coffee Busters Roastery, Red Fox Coffee, Delicias Regionales del Perú, Inka Market Superfoods, Organa Perú SA, Perú Nor SAC, among others, which played a fundamental role in this event, making it in a high-impact commercial showcase.

In this way, the active participation and commitments reached at Expocafé Perú 2023 reinforce the importance of these events as key drivers for the expansion and recognition of the quality of the products of alternative development producers in the national and international market.
