The Supervisory Body for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin) set the new price bands and commercial margins for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG-E) and B5 Diesel intended for vehicular use.

The Resolution of the Osinergmin Rate Regulation Management No. 088-2023-OS/GRT establishes that The values ​​will be valid from Friday, December 1 to Thursday, December 28, 2023.

What are the new prices?

The entity established the upper limit of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG-E) intended for bottling in S/1.69 and the lower limit at S/1.63 per kilogram.

As for B5 Diesel for vehicular use, both Low Sulfur and High Sulfur are quoted at the upper limit of S/11.33, while at the lower limit they reach S/11.23. This indicates that the public prices of this fuel should not exceed these costs, since they are included in the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund.
