PL 5892/2023-CR is being cooked in Congress, which establishes the foundations of the new Industries Law. Among his main aspects, he seeks to be exempt from paying taxes on the sector in regions such as Arequipa, Puno and Cusco.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) warns that this new law – promoted by some legislators against the National Society of Industries (SNI)— would mean more than S/32,000 million lost in tax revenue.
