After being approved at the insistence of Congress, Law No. 31928 was enacted, which modifies Law No. 29625 and authorizes the partial return of contributions from the Fonavi (National Housing Fund), which will benefit 1.2 million of contributors or their heirs and for which more than S/2,000 million will be available.

This process would take place starting next December 14. In the following note, we detail the requirements to request delivery of Fonavi and what is the link to confirm if you access this benefit.

What is the link to confirm if you access the return of Fonavi contributions?

To verify whether or not you are registered on the Fonavi contribution return list, you can click HERE. To do this, you must write your DNI number and the code shown on the screen.

On the portal, it is indicated if you are part of a registry and, therefore, if the payment corresponds to you in December. However, there is a possibility that ‘Individual Account under construction’ may be issued, which means that it is not yet certain that you will access the refund, because it is in process.

What are the requirements to request Fonavi contributions?

According to the criteria established by Law No. 31928, the beneficiary who receives contributions from the National Housing Fund (Fonavi) must have information about their contributions. However, if you do not have them, you must have evidence of having worked during the contribution period so that the Ad Hoc Settlement Commission for Contributions to Fonavi can calculate the contribution.

This instance is the one that will determine the means with which the contributions made will be accredited, “including those that the Fonavista could present,” highlighted Alex Contreras, Minister of Economy and Finance.

When do Fonavi contributions pay?

The return of contributions to the National Housing Fund (Fonavi) will begin this year, on December 14. “We are betting that at Christmas fonavistas can collect, because they will already have individual accounts. There are resources for about 2,400 million soles and if we add the accounts receivable, the resources that the fund has reach around 5,000 million. This, without a doubt, will help the reactivation of this vulnerable segment of the population,” explained the head of Economy.
