The president of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otarolaannounced tonight that, before the end of this year, the Government plans to launch an improved and expanded version of the Reactiva Perú program.
“Before the end of the year we will launch an improved expansion of the Peru reactivation program with competitive interest rates,” he commented during his participation in the CADE Executives 2023. Furthermore, he stressed that this measure will contribute to the recovery of the country’s micro and small entrepreneurs in the midst of the current crisis.
Likewise, Otárola highlighted that the Impulso program MyPeru Until October of this year, it granted state guarantees for loans to more than 61,000 mypes from different economic sectors.
The prime minister explained that these business units accessed financing for a total amount of S/1,407 million “By March 31, 2024, the period until which companies can benefit from this program, we hope to reach 246,000 micro, small and medium-sized companies,” he emphasized.
Regarding reactivation, the authority highlighted the measures of the United Plan that the Executive recently launched. In that sense, he highlighted the expansion from S/5,000 to S/15,000 million of the Impulso Perú program. “In addition, we are going to expand the scope of the program to increase the maximum loan amount,” he said.
