The Minister of Economy and Finance, Alex Contreras, today carried out a series of measures to reactivate the country’s economy. In that sense, he mentioned that regarding the reactivation of emblematic water projects in the country, in the event that, during this month, no proposal is presented by any government interested in carrying out the third stage of Chavimochic, it will be will opt for the public works option with direct award.
“Otherwise this mega infrastructure will be awarded in the month of February,” he highlighted during the presentation of the United Plan.
In addition to Chavimochic, Contreras highlighted other significant projects that will generate a long-term impact on the agricultural sector. Among them, he mentioned Iruro in the Ayacucho area of Arequipa with an investment of S / 206 million and Yanapujio in Moquegua and Arequipa for 617 million.
