The head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Alex Contreras, pointed out, during the conference held this Thursday, November 9, that as a second measure of Impulso Mi Perú, a change will be made to the new agrarian law and will promote reforms to improve the agricultural sector.
In that sense, he indicated that among the measures that will be carried out is the expansion of agricultural insurance in the event of the El Niño Phenomenon, a bill that allows dar incentives for hiring in the agricultural sector, and strengthen regulatory entities such as Sanipes and Digesa. In addition, a financing incentive will be given to small agricultural producers.
“Unfortunately, the repeal of the agrarian promotion law generated structural damage to the agro-export sector. So we need to recover our ability to reach external markets competitively, That is why we are going to propose some regulatory changes to the law of the agro-export sector.“said Contreras.
