The electrical companiesinterested agents, authorities and executors of works, among others, will have an additional period, set by resolution of the Board of Directors 191-2023-OS/CD, to express their opinions regarding a proposal launched by Osinergmin that will allow the removal of cables that interfere with infrastructure work.
In dialogue with La República, Osinergmin explained that, during the development of an infrastructure work, cases of interference could arise, that is, electrical, telephone or water installations may be found that must be removed or moved so that the execution can continue. .
In May 2023, Legislative Decree DL-1559 modified various provisions of Legislative Decree DL-1192, related to the procedure and deadline for the resolution of these cases.
Thus, in cases of interference related to electric sectorthe public entity or whoever executes the infrastructure work, may request from Osinergmin the issuance of mandates for the electric company to define the respective schedule and budget. The reception of suggestions was extended until November 20, 2023.
In compliance with the aforementioned regulations, through Board of Directors Resolution 181-2023-OS/CD, Osinergmin published the procedure linked to the provision of public services in the energy sector, with the aim of interested agents submitting their opinions. and/or comments that they consider relevant. The relevant aspects are the following:
- It allows public or private companies to overcome the interference they have in the execution of their infrastructure works.
- Establishes the information to be sent by companies providing public services or interference holders; On the basis of which, the mandate and budgets to be compensated will be issued.
- The maximum deadlines for attention to requests by Osinergmin are set.
