The Minister of Energy, Fernando Santos Alvite, announced that the cuts will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., three hours a day for the Coast region and four hours a day for the Sierra and Oriente regions. As this newspaper has learned, representatives of the distributor are currently meeting with the National Electricity Operator (Cenace) to define the schedule. Cenace and distribution companies are in the phase of defining the schedule, which will then be announced to the public in the afternoon or evening on October 26.
