To respond to the emergency El Niño Phenomenon (FEN), the Executive Branch has allocated a total of S/4,116 million distributed across the three levels of Government. At the National Government level, The Agrarian and Irrigation sector has the largest budget to address the El Niño emergency, with S/1,195 million, but its execution level as of October 9 is 9.4% (S/112 million 941,711). While Defense, the second with the most resources (S/777 million), shows an advance of 8.1%. Housing, Construction and Sanitation 6.3% of what was assigned has been executed (S/518 million).

The regional government of Piura It is the one with the most resources, with S/108 million; but to date it shows an execution level of 5.1% (S/5 million 532,495). Furthermore, Puno (S/2 million 706,812) and Moquegua (S/581,828) have not spent a single sol of the allocated money.
