During an interview on Canal N, the Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar, reported that the Government will launch emergency bonds aimed at transferring families living in risk areas of Lima to real estate projects of the MiVivienda Fund, which are located in already identified safe places.
“Families living in the marginal areas have been identified. That is, in areas that are at imminent risk (due to El Niño), and a first call for applications will be launched. bonus for these people to settle in areas where there is no risk,” he said.

According to the Multisectoral Committee in charge of the Study of the El Niño Phenomenon, between the months of September and November, moderate and strong rains will begin in the coastal, mountainous and central regions of the country. In this sense, the departments with the largest population exposed to very high risk are: Cajamarca (252,747), Piura (208,228), Huánuco (146,346), La Libertad (136,756) and Áncash (135,658).
