The Association of Private Banks of Ecuador (Assobanca) explained that there will be changes in the usual service although the operation of financial services will be guaranteed.
Is the October 9 holiday only for Guayaquil?
In the case that clients need personal attention, they must contact the agencies that serve in delayed working hours, which is specified in each bank.
Likewise, 4,870 ATMs will be enabled (1,092 are in Guayaquil).
The entity specified that non-bank correspondents (CNB) will be enabled to perform transfers, disbursements and payments in business premises, shops, bazaars, pharmacies, etc.
