According to the report, which evaluates the measures taken by the companies during these post-vaccination holidays, more companies are willing to resume activities such as a year-end event with the team (55%), Christmas celebration with the workers’ children ( 40%) and Christmas celebration with the workers (50%).

Along these lines, 89% of companies will continue to deliver a gift to employees that includes a basket of food, turkey and / or panettone.

“Companies are taking into account activities that were highly relevant before the pandemic and that generated integration opportunities, such as face-to-face events or meetings with employees; all this while giving priority to the application of sanitary measures and others that allow the continuity of the business ”, indicated Akio Murakami, leader of Health and Benefits Consulting of Marsh Peru.

Within the framework of these celebrations, and with the aim of maintaining health and safety measures for workers and avoiding any risk of contagion of COVID-19, almost 80% of companies that will carry out any of these celebrations will do so virtually .

Useful vacations for the worker’s children

Some companies will maintain the benefit of offering useful vacations for the children of their workers, In which classes of artistic activities, painting, theater (82%), sports and physical activity (64%) and cooking classes (55%) stand out, which will be offered both online and in person.

For Murakami, companies have made a great effort this end of the year to maintain some employment benefits that allow them to grant recreation, fun and rest spaces to their workers and families, in a context that has generated great uncertainty, stress and anxiety.

“The will to continue providing these initiatives, and some even in person, shows the empathy and commitment that their workers have with each one of them, and that today, more than before, is transcendental,” he stressed.
