Last Friday, the National Customs Service (Senae) issued a resolution expanding the amounts allowed as personal belongings for travelers entering the country by air.
Through its website, the entity has detailed two routes for citizens to enter the country, and each of them has its own restrictions.
One of them is by land. Personal belongings accompanying a traveler or family group consist of goods which, due to their quantity or value, cannot be considered commercial. If the allowed amount is exceeded, the corresponding tax must be paid on the excess.

It is currently unknown whether the entity also intends to increase the volumes for these border crossings.
