The Council of Ministers approved this Monday, September 18, the emergency decree that expands the credit program Myperú Impulse in S/2,000 million, so that now the state guarantee for loans to companies amounts to S/5,000 million, announced the Prime Minister, Alberto Otárola, at a press conference.
Meanwhile, the head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Alex Contreras, indicated that not only are more resources being injected into the credit program, but that improvements are being made in the design of Myperú Impulse so that the reach is greater. Thus, in addition to micro and small businesses, medium-sized companies will now also be able to access this type of financing until March 2024.
Likewise, the amount of credit that companies can request up to S/1 million. The payment term for this loan will be up to 5 years with 12 months of grace and has the benefit of the good payer bonus.
“These additional resources will allow us to continue financing the reactivation of our economy, and we have incorporated a difference, in addition to including micro and small businesses, We are including financing for medium-sized companies, expanding loans up to S/300,000 and even S/1 million. The economic slowdown and climate effects have had a negative impact on some sectors such as agro-exports, fishing and, in that sense, what we seek is for this program to continue supporting the country’s recovery,” said Minister Contreras Miranda.
