Fisherman’s pension: how much will the increase be?
From the Casa del Pensionista Yuyaq, in San Juan de Lurigancho, President Boluarte announced that the base that fishermen will receive in their retirement will be increased to S/360since in many cases they received between S/15 and S/80 per month.
For his part, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Alex Contreras, explained that the supreme decree to make this proposal viable is ready. “It will be published between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and it will benefit many fishermen who received paltry pensions”he explained.

“For the first time in history, we are establishing a minimum pension for fishermen who previously received S/15 or S/20. Now, their minimum pension will be S/360. There are around 4,000 beneficiaries, and I have already signed the law yesterday and it should be published no later than two days“, held.
