On Sunday 5 and Monday 6 December, the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (call) quoted the international currency at S / 4,071 for purchase and S / 4,078 for sale.
According to Macroeconomic Expectations Survey of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP), economic analysts estimate that, by 2022, GDP will no longer grow at 2.6 percent, as determined in October, but at 3 percent. According to the same study, the financial system points out that, this year, the Peruvian economy will increase to 11.4%, while analysts consider that it will rebound to 12.7%.
On the economic level, through a statement, the Unique Union of Workers of the Mining Company Las Bambas MMG expressed concern after the announcement of the stoppages of mining activity that, according to the union, would affect more than 9,000 workers with their families. In this sense, the group urged the Government to establish dialogue between the MMG company, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the communities and the Congress. In addition, they indicated that they continue to wait for a response from the Executive.
