The company aims to sell more than 30,000 hamburgers during its first month of operations in Peruvian territory.

“We are very excited to bring MrBeast Burger to Peru. Jimmy Donaldson’s popularity in Peru is huge, so we felt it was the perfect second market to launch the operation. The concentration of the fast food market in the country is extremely high and there is a very interesting variety, which is why we are sure that it will be a great success”, said Andres Prieto, City Manager of Foodology Peru.

Mr Beast Burger is a virtual brand created by the famous youtuber Jimmy Donaldson (known as MrBeast), who has accumulated more than 170 million followers thanks to his viral videos. The idea for fast food was born in December 2020, when, after opening his location in Wilson, North Carolina, Jimmy Donaldson began giving away money to buyers as part of a viral challenge, which gave him a lot of popularity. his proposal.

Thus, the company quickly expanded and currently has more than 1,000 locations in North America and Europe. In May of this year, it launched its operations in six cities in Mexico.

However, the hamburger chain has been criticized for the low quality of its products. Donaldson even filed a lawsuit against Virtual Dining Concepts, the catering company with which he was associated, for failing to prioritize food quality.
