These are the best places to work in Latin America, some companies are Ecuadorian

In Latin America, almost two million workers were surveyed to identify the best places to work, including multinational, large, medium and small companies.

This is confirmed by the Great Place to Work study, which analyzes company work programs that affect 3.8 million employees in the region.

“To be considered, companies must first be identified as outstanding in their local region by appearing on one or more of our Best Places to Work lists in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El. El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela during 2022 or early 2023,” the study summarizes.

Companies are classified into three size categories: small and medium (10-499 employees), large (more than 500) and multinational companies. Multinational organizations are also judged for their efforts to create great jobs in various countries in the region.

“They must appear on at least three national lists in Latin America and have at least one thousand employees worldwide with at least 40% (or 5,000) of those employees located outside the country of headquarters,” the letter said.

In 25th place is Banco Solidario, an entity that has 1,470 employees across the country. 62% are women. During 2022, 67% of internal promotions were awarded to women, which proves equal opportunities within the organization. 42% of the first management line are women, and 53% of the second line. The rate of satisfaction with the working environment is 91%, according to the company.

Medium and small companies

Meanwhile, in position 28 is Gilbert & Boloña, from the field of financial services; and at number 32 is Aekia, from the shop/retailas part of Ecuador.

When can a vote be considered invalid in this election?

To determine the winners of the election, the voting committee members must count the ballots received at their polling station. Votes are divided into valid, invalid and empty, according to the electoral system of Ecuador.

Valid votes are those that express the choice of a candidate or a list. Spoiled votes are those that deliberately invalidate your vote on the ballot. And white votes are cast when the ballot remains completely empty.

Election silence: from 00:00 this Friday, August 18 to 17:00 on Sunday, August 20, an election silence is in effect, which entails avoiding the dissemination of any information from public institutions and election advertising.

Prohibition Law: the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited before and after the election, that is, from 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18 until noon on Monday, August 21.
