From this month to September, two housing fairs will be held in Guayaquil and Quito, organized by the Bank of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (Biess).

The first fair is scheduled for August 30 and will last until September 3, at the Guayaquil Simón Bolívar Convention Center; while the second is planned from September 14 to 17 at the Metropolitan Convention Center in Quito.

Security is increasingly a priority when buying a home and is almost as important as price

In both cases, visitors will be offered information about solutions, loans and interest rates during the day, according to Biess. The ticket price, according to the website www.expoplaza.ec, will be $2, both in Guayaquil and Quito.

The entity not only organizes these fairs, but also promotes an initiative called Casa abierta together with real estate projects. The most recent was the first weekend of this month, which was at Parque del Sol, in San Antonio de Pichincha, according to the X (Twitter) account.

Biess was also present with its booth at Habitat 2023, which took place from April 12 to 16 at the Guayaquil Convention Center and at Clave 2023, which took place from April 19 to 23 at the Quito Exhibition Center.

Last April, Biess reported that it plans to make more than $760 million in mortgage loans by 2023.
