Store salespeople are what employers demand the most in Arequipa

According to a study of the demand for occupations in Arequipa, the companies had the intention this year to demand a total of 6,553 workers.

While, for permanent positions, the occupation that will be most required is that of protection guards in establishments. These jobs originate from a continuous need of a company throughout the year.

In the study, it can be seen that little by little the teleworking modality has been left aside after the pandemic, since of the total required positions, only 1.1% are teleworking. Mostly these positions are for call centers.

Another point is that in 27.2% of the permanent positions are required for men. On the other hand, The average hiring age is 35 years.

Likewise, to perform in these tasks, much specialization is not required. The survey reveals that to fill 41.6% of the new job positions only complete high school is requested, the requirement for a technical professional reaches 18.2%, while 13.3% request technical education and 12.9% of the cases professional university.

With studies

If the university professional educational level is considered, what companies will most demand are management and organization analysts, primary and secondary level teachers, plastic arts artists, productive technical education teachers and nurses.

It should be noted that at this point, the most sought after career is Administration, then Accounting, Industrial Relations and Education.

At the technical level, the most requested are employees of statistical and financial services.
