Legarda’s announcement comes after the Constitutional Court (CC) approved the trade agreement between Ecuador and Costa Rica at the beginning of this month, but made several remarks, and that now – according to the minister – contact with that Central American country has been established to remove those doubts. According to experts, objections to the trade agreement with Costa Rica must be considered so that future agreements do not have the same reservations on the part of the CC.
