National Holidays: 50% of private companies will grant Thursday, July 27 as a non-working day

Of every 10 companies, 6 have selected July 27 with the aim of promoting the balance between personal life and work, according to a survey by Marsh Mercer Benefits.

Next week will be held the National Holidays. Given this, 50% of the private companies that will grant a non-working day for said date chose Thursday, July 27 as a day off for their workers, according to a survey carried out by Marsh Mercer Benefits.

According to the study, this day has been selected with the aim of promoting a balance between personal life and work, according to 60% of the companies surveyed. In addition, 20% seek to promote rest opportunities and a healthier life, while 10% plan to take it as a vacation account to reduce contingent collaborators. Likewise, 10% will allow employees to schedule vacations together with their families.

Regarding the groups of collaborators to which this provision will apply, 80% of the companies will benefit their administrative employees, followed by 20% that will involve the customer service and sales teams.

In relation to the recovery of hours not worked, 33% of the companies will choose to recover them, 11% will not recover them and 56% will take them on account of employee vacations.
