In this way, the foreign currency increased by 0.10% compared to the close of last Tuesday, November 20, when it stood at S / 4,067.
The purchase in the parallel market was located at S / 4,055 and the sale at S / 4,085. Regarding the price of the dollar in the main windows of the country, is situated in the purchase S / 4,033 and the sale S / 4,087.
During the day, the issuing entity went on the market to sell US $ 29 million at an average exchange rate of S / 4.0720 per dollar to mitigate the volatility of the currency. In addition, it placed exchange swaps for S / 790 million.
This comes after Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said the risk of inflation had risen and noted that the central bank could accelerate the reduction in bond purchases at its meeting later this month.
