Vehicles of Chinese origin attract more interest in the Ecuadorian market, and this has been reflected in the increase of imports in recent years.
According to figures from the Association of Automobile Companies of Ecuador (AEADE), in 2022, of the total number of imported vehicles, 42.4% corresponded to China. Brazil is in second place with 12.2%.

According to AEADE data, several Chinese models are on the list of best-selling vehicles last June. For example; among SUV models, Shineray’s G01 is the most sold.
