Urea unstoppable rally in the international market: up 61% for Peru as of October 2021

The results of the first ten months of 2021 are revealed far superior, even to the total of the twelve months of 2020, when a value of US $ 99 million 225 thousand 809 was imported. This is due to a 61% increase in the prices this year, rising from US $ 0.266 per kilo to US $ 0.530 per kilo last October.

Urea, Russian rule in Peru

According to the report, the main urea supplier for the Peruvian market this year is Russia, which achieved placements until October for US $ 84 million 22 thousand 443 (69% of total shipments).

Next came China, with US $ 31 million 313 thousand 72 ;, Indonesia, with US $ 3 million 569 thousand 443; Singapore, with US $ 3 million 458 thousand 218; Germany, with US $ 169,801; and others with smaller amounts that together totaled US $ 89,184.

Molinos & Cia SA, Ceres Perú SA, Equilibra Perú SA, Gavilón Perú SRL, and Inka Agri-Resources SAC were among the main importing companies in the sector.
