The micro and small companies (mype) of the textile and clothing, leather and footwear and metal mechanics sectors will hold, this Monday, July 3, a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Production (Produce), to demand that the Executive implement measures that allow its economic and productive reactivation in the short term.
The businessmen explained that, for two months, the owner of Produce himself, Raul Perez Reyesit was promised that measures would be implemented by June 30, 2023, such as the implementation of the MyPerú Purchasing executing nuclei of the Ministry of the Interior (Mininter) and the budget for the executing nucleus of the Ministry of Defense (Mindef).
Also that the observations on the placement of credits of the Impulso Myperú program that are not reaching the mypes, according to what they refer; as well as the publication of the supreme decree that modifies the rule on requiring 50% of surveys to apply safeguards; among other initiatives that have not been fulfilled.
“What is required is to determine the specific dates for sending all the technical files to the executing core Mininter regarding the goods manufactured by the mypes, for their execution and immediate call for suppliers. In addition, Produce has yet to determine the budget corresponding to the Ministry of Defense (Mindef) for purchases from mypes”the businessmen specified.
Another topic that is on the agenda is the modification of the regulations of Law 31658 so that no less than 80% of the credits of the program Impulse Myperube placed as new credits and in this way guarantee that the purpose of the law is fulfilled, which is the financial inclusion of mypes.
Likewise, the Executive has yet to report the date of publication of the regulation of Law 31578, that guarantees the purchase of no less than 40% of public entities from national manufacturing mypesafter taking into account the opinions and observations submitted by the unions.
