About 30 entrepreneurs will meet at the Mercadillo fair, a space that was born in December 2022 and that supports these business owners to activate the Bellavista sector in Guayaquil.

Isabel Martínez, organizer of the fair, tells how the idea for the event was born. “One day I was inspired by the last job I had, at the age of 28, and I said enough, I can go out and work supporting people who need this type of green space in the city of Guayaquil to promote their products,” comments Martinez.

In addition, this space is for the promotion of art. “There are artists who are growing in the medium and want to be heard, and these entrepreneurial fairgrounds are where the art is in the city,” he says.

The last event at the Market was on December 17, 2022, and now, in this second edition, Martínez confirms that there is a growth in influence and keeps the Bellavista sector as the protagonist of the fair.

“I chose Bellavista because it has been my citadel since childhood and I believe that Bellavista has the space to hold such fairs and activate us as a community,” he points out.

The fair will be held on Saturday, July 1 in the lower part of the Bellavista citadel from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“In this second edition, we will support the María Guare Foundation, Ser Feliz and Casa Gatuna,” says Martínez, adding that there will be bands: Block Buster, Manso Horror, Álex Barragán and Petunias.
