“After a favorable opinion from @CorteConstEcu, President @LassoGuillermo will soon sign the Decree-#FamilyEconomyLaw,” Briones wrote on Twitter, where he also shared the dates when the various points of the tax reform will come into force, which he said, “are different “.

Briones also indicated that in the coming weeks, he will issue clarifying regulations for the application of the Decree on the Organic Law to Strengthen the Family Economy.

According to SRI, with the tax reform, 195 million dollars returned to the family economy; 340,000 popular businesses that previously paid $60 in income tax will no longer reverse that value when they sell less than $2,500, among other benefits.
