He fishing sector decreased 2.57% due to the lower extraction of species of maritime origin (-6.60%), mainly for direct human consumption (-1.57%), destined for the production of canned food (-30.5% ), for frozen (-5.2%) and curing preparation (-2.4%).
Likewise, fishing for indirect human consumption (anchovy resource for fishmeal and fish oil) decreased when a landing of 6,444 tons was reported, which, compared to 26,114 tons in April 2022, registered a decrease of -75.3%.
Other sectors that fell in April are telecommunications and other information services (-9.87%), financial and insurance (-7.22%), construction (-5.12%), manufacturing (-3.84%).

He electricity, gas and water sector it grew 7.32% driven by the generation of electricity (8.42%) and water production (1.55%); while, gas distribution decreased (-2.44%).
The other sectors that advanced in April are accommodation and restaurants (9.10%), other services (4.82%), commerce (3.18%)transport, storage, mail and messaging (3.08%), public administration, defense and others (2.85%), services provided to companies (1.57%).
