The Industrial Engineering career is one of the engineering with the best remuneration in the Peruvian market and it is increasingly incorporating more women into its ranks, according to data provided by the Distance University in Peru (UNITEC Peru).
According to Joel Cedillo, professor of Industrial Engineering at UNITEC, a professional in this area is in charge of promoting the growth of companies, taking care of the environment and promoting the development of the entire system.
“It covers process control, quality control, operation processes, manufacturing or financial administrationamong others, having the possibility of finding a job in any sector, for a reason it is one of the professions with the best salary in Latin America”, explained Cedillo.

Some of the most common fields are: construction, energy and mining, healthcare, insurance, pharmaceuticals, retail, automotive, banking and finance, heavy industrial manufacturing, information technology, robotics, information technology and software, service organizations, and consulting firms, among others.
