Those who work in small companies will receive half a bonus salary, according to the TUO of the mype law, DS 013-2013-Produce. This applies to workers hired before and after the company enrolled in Micro and Small Business Registry (Remype).

How is the bonus calculated?

If the employee worked the entire semester between January and June of this 2023, he must calculate the sum of the total amount of his salary and the extraordinary bonus for insurance.

The calculation would be distributed like this: salary + household allowance (if you have minor children or are in higher education) + bonus of 9% (EsSalud) or 6.75% (Health Provider Company) of salary.

If the worker did not work the full semester (from January to June), the gratification will be equal to one sixth of its remuneration for each month worked, added to the bonus of 9% for contribution to EsSalud or 6.75% for EPS.
