“Farmers from all over Peru will have access to good phosphate rock fertilizer and best of all, at reasonable prices, since studies announce that we will save 70% because we own the raw material. Likewise, the execution of this project will energize the economy because we will have the opportunity to export this product that we hope to enjoy very soon,” he explained.

He also declared that between March 2011 and May 2022, Peru has imported more than 40% of the total tons of fertilizers from Russia, which means excessive prices for purchases from that country. On this, the congresswoman considered that this problem could change with the start-up of this processing plant, since the food safety and the national economy will be revitalized.
