Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday: what is the best day to buy?

This November 26, the locals await the influx of customers.

The penultimate month of the year ends and with that comes the offers in millions of shops around the world. People wait for these dates to make long-awaited purchases and even gifts for the Christmas season.

This November 26 the Black Friday, also known as Black Friday, however, it will not be the only date where businesses will present offers, they will also do so on November 29 with the Cyber Monday.

In some cases, these discounts do not represent a significant decrease in the price of certain products and in some stores what is done is to increase the price weeks before and then return it to the normal value during those days.

How to avoid scams during ‘Black Friday’

A study by the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) (of Spain), cited by El Confidencial, indicated that there was a price increase both on Black Friday and on Cyber Monday so there was no significant difference (0.5% in the first) between both dates.

It was noted that one of the dangers for consumers is that during the Black Friday the seller runs out of stock of available products and prices are no longer discounted for the next three days.

One of the keys to keep in mind for these dates is to compare prices both before Black Friday and on the same day in different stores. Remember that the best purchase you can make is the one you plan and it will not affect your economy, so it is recommended to keep a list or budget established for that period. (I)
