Cristiano Ronaldo is dissatisfied in Saudi Arabia and wants to leave Al-Nassr

About five months after arriving in Saudi Arabia, striker Cristiano Ronaldo is already making plans to leave the country. According to the Spanish newspaper sports worldthe 38-year-old athlete can’t stand playing for Al-Nassr anymore and is looking for another club to play for.

The Portuguese would be dissatisfied in his current team, being very uncomfortable with the lack of infrastructure in the country and the differences with the West. Because of this, Cristiano and his manager are looking at opportunities to return to European football or even move to other leagues.

Even though the historic shirt number 7 of the Real Madrid plan to leave Saudi Arabia, a major stumbling block can be your contract. Cristiano has a contract signed with Al-Nassr until the middle of 2025, where he receives 200 million euros (about R$ 1 billion in the current count) per season.

The large figures in the striker’s contract may remove the interest of teams from the Old Continent, which did not enter the race to hire him at the end of 2022 due to his high salary. If he wants to leave, CR7 will need to compensate the club for leaving without just cause.

The striker was presented at Al-Nassr in January and has already entered the field 17 times, in matches for the Saudi Championship, Saudi King’s Cup and the Super Cup. In all, Cristiano Ronaldo scored 13 goals.
