Produces: More than 200 micro and small companies closed deals for more than S/ 7.7 million

The vice minister of Mype and IndustryJavier Dávila, reported that during the week of the mype, called “United We All Win”businesses were achieved in excess of S/ 7.7 million in favor of more than 200 micro and medium-sized companies throughout the country.

The official highlighted that the benefited business units were able to offer their manufacturing products to 31 companies. Among the buyers are: Ferreycorp, Constructora Cumbres, Besco, Los Portales, Austral Group, Menorca, Banco de Crédito del Perú, Alicorp, Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde, Southern Perú, among others.

Along the same lines, he indicated that some 21 public institutions were able to learn about the products and services of more than 140 MYPEs from the different regions of Peru, and generated commercial and business ties, in order to continue promoting public purchases.

“We wanted to recognize the invaluable contribution of MYPEs to the revitalization of the country’s economy with a series of activities, where around 300 businessmen, from various productive sectors, participated in seminars and strengthened their business skills,” he added.

During the closing ceremony of the event, the vice-minister stressed that “we continue to work hard on all our initiatives, which as the governing sector of MYPEs and internal commerce is our responsibility, to reach -in a decentralized, inclusive and participatory way- micro and little ones all over the country.

Finally, he said that the sector’s commitment is to contribute to improving productivity and competitiveness; in an open-door management and always working in an articulated manner at all levels of government, with business associations, academia and organized civil society.
