For its part, the S&P/BVL Peru Selective Index, made up of the most traded shares, increased 0.95% and stood at 549.38 units. In total, the shares of 48 companies were listed, in this order: 23 up, 13 down, and 12 static.
The financial sector presented gains of 1.04%, while services (-2.12%), electricity (-2.12%), mining (-1.16%), construction (-0.63%), industrial ( -0.12%) and consumption (-0.06%) registered losses.
The best performing stocks were Ferreycorp (0.96%) and Compañía de Minas Buenaventura (0.14%). Conversely, the companies that fell were Aceros Arequipa (-1.67%) and Unacem (-1.23%).
