This compared to the pre-pandemic (2019) represents an increase of 25.8%. It should be noted that, by 2023, the total number of underemployed amounts to 2 million 198,900.

For their part, those people with a salary below the minimum totaled 1,747,600. Compared to 2019, it represents an increase of 588,2000 (50.7%). Likewise, the number of women with inadequate income is 57.3% (1 million 1 thousand 400 people) are women and 42.7% (746 thousand 200 people) men.
For its part, in this moving quarter, the unemployment rate in Metropolitan Lima was 7.1%. Thus, there are 394,800 citizens who are actively looking for a job in the Capital of the Republic, compared to the same mobile quarter of the year 2019 (7.3%), there was a decrease of 0.2%.
