Christmas campaign: Employers offer up to 8,000 soles for the most demanded positions

The economic reactivation is influencing the demand for more jobs and, with the development of the current Christmas season, the dynamism for greater employment opportunities is increasing, according to ManpowerGroup Peru.

The consulting firm explained that since October there has been an interesting growth in hiring levels, with a little more emphasis on massive profiles.

According to Daniel Galdos, commercial manager of ManpowerGroup Peru, the most demanded profiles in the framework of the recent Christmas campaign are commercial manager, bilingual customer service advisor and sales agent, whose salaries range from 1,100 soles to 8,000 soles.

And the most dynamic sectors in the search for these positions are retail, services, logistics and manufacturing.

“The positions mentioned seem to be quite traditional; however, we see an interesting evolution in relation to the type of profile required. Although ‘experience’ is still a relevant topic, since it is an aspect that gives a certain ‘guarantee’ to the employer, it is more and more frequent that companies want to measure the potential of the candidate, trying to understand, among other things, their ability to adapt to new environments ”, highlighted Galdos.

Most interested sectors

For Galdos, the sector retail It has the greatest role at this time; However, the Christmas campaign produces a hiring chain effect in other sectors such as contact center, logistics, services and manufacturing mainly, with which the job offer increases, also promoting the demand for other profiles such as promoters, boosters O merchants.

The Manpower spokesperson also commented that, in this context, employers have been implementing better labor inclusion practices that allow the companies themselves to achieve a greater capacity to innovate and, therefore, be more profitable.
