Cencosud will build a new shopping center in San Juan de Lurigancho

Cencosud’s Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting informed that it has an investment plan for $500 million for the following years. In this sense, it plans to invest in more than 1,000 new commercial premises in Chile, Peru and Colombia.

“We estimate completing this investment plan within a five-year horizon and we have a solid financial and cash generation position to face it together with the distribution of annual dividends,” declared the Chairman of the Board of Cencosud Shopping, Manfred Paulmann.

So, Saint John of Lurigancho It is among the next districts where the business consortium will build a new shopping center. During the presentation to shareholders, Paulmann revealed that the new building will be mixed-use, on a large scale in this district and will have a direct connection to the Los Jardines metro station.

In addition, it will have seven levels in 107,000 square meters of total leasable area. Inside, it you will find 345 stores, 4 anchor stores, restaurants on the upper terrace, a food court, cinemas, a medical centeramong other attractions.

This will be the second mall that San Juan de Lurigancho has, since Mall Aventura will open in November.

It should be noted that the company currently has an upcoming project to be completed in La Molina, a shopping center that is being built on an area of ​​40,000 square meters and will have 140 stores on 4 levels, including a new Wong supermarket, cinemas, restaurants, services and leading brands.
