The National Chamber of Aquaculture (CNA) reported that 27 Ecuadorian companies are present under the distinctive ‘Frist Class Shrimp’, which has an area of ​​498 square meters of exhibition space, the largest area registered to date.

The participating national export companies are: Cofimar, Crimasa, Docapes, Edpacif, Empacreci, Expalsa, Exportquilsa, Expotuna, Excamecor, Frigolandia, Grupo Almar, Langosmar, Luna Shrimp, Maramar, Natluk, Nirsa, Omarsa, Proexpo, Procamaronex, Promarosa, PCC Congelados y Frescos SA, Santa Priscila, Songa, Sopase, Sustainable Shrimp Partnership, Wirep and Total Seafood.

Meanwhile, the union emphasized that this year’s event is focused on sustainability. In addition, the threats of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution will be discussed. It brings together buyers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, representatives of restaurants, supermarkets, hotels and other companies in the retail sector from all over the world.

85 international experts from the sector will participate in the conference program, from marine professionals, businessmen, representatives of non-governmental organizations, experts in biodiversity and sustainability. The fair will be open until Thursday, April 27.
